DO I NEED A BUILDING PERMIT FOR A PERGOLA?

Yes. For a pergola exceeding a ground area of 20 m², a building permit application is necessary. Expect a processing time of two months in this case.

No permit is required if the area does not exceed 20 m². However, please note that a request for planning permission is required from your local municipality for a pergola with an area between 5 and 20 m².

MAINTAINING YOUR ALUMINIUM PERGOLA

The good news is that aluminium is an exceptionally resistant to weather conditions, does not rust and requires minimal maintenance.

For cleaning, a simple solution of soapy water and a cloth is all you need to remove any dirt.
